Offense: 2014 team. After starting sort of slow (scored 34 in a win against Navy and 21 in the only loss of the year to Va Tech), they scored 42+ points a game in 13 of their 15 final games (the two they didn't were both 31-point games against Penn State and Minnesota). They scored 672 points...
Indiana was outgained offensively and still won by 34 points (would've been 41 points is the game were 22 seconds shorter). I wonder if that is some sort of record (margin of victory despite being outgained)...
Back after about a three-week hiatus. Indiana is no doubt, by far, the best team in the country. If you would've told me just before the beginning of the 2024 season that Indiana would by 25-2 and being leading by 28 points at halftime in the CFP semi-finals less than a year and a half away, I...
The playoff committee and ABC/ESPN love affair with Bama football is really sickening...they have been outscored 45-7 in less than the last game and a half of football against the two best teams in their conference. We would absolutely smoke them if we played them in the playoffs...
JFC. Browns just lost again--at home--and this time to a team that was 1-10...despite outgaining them by 120 yards, having almost twice as many first downs, and outgaining them by almost two yards per play.
Really. Holy $h!t. Alabama got railed hard in the SEC Championship game and yet they didn't even drop a spot. Not only should they have not kept their spot in the rankings, they should've been left out of the playoffs...period.
Like I said just before the scUM game last year, if you would've told me before the game that we'd hold our opponent to 13 points I would have bet the house that we'd win. Sure glad I didn't actually make the bet...
There is no way--no damn way--that the committee could put in a three-loss team, that just got their asses beat in their conference title game, into the playoffs.
This what is on the OSU recruiting tally page, and it shows 26 recruits. The other part of the site has OSU at 27 recruits. So the site is messed up, to say the least:
