Another case of, like Day, being a first time head coach, probably shouldn't start at a school like OSU. Hopefully Coach D corrects mistakes as quickly or quicker than Day.

I always felt that ole 9 and 3 Earle was a better coach than Coop, but Earle couldn't recruit worth a darn. Coop won most of the games he should have, but peed down his leg in tight games...I remember him chewing his nail...in nail biters..I think he wore depends, before depends were a thing...

I know it's the Scoop...so BS, but Barton interviewed him earlier this year. He said there were only a couple places he'd entertain coaching at..one was OSU...said he'd sorta like to see how he could do in that position vs what he's doing now..good interview...had me, with my titanium hip, ready...

IF, and again, IF this is about friction with LJ, then I for one completely understand Knowles leaving. He was hired as "the head coach of the defense" but may have been, behind the scenes, allowed to be told by an assistant coach..nah, I don't like that, I'm not coaching it up that way...
