    Impending Assistant Coach Vacancies

Anyone we bring in will likely be a co-OC anyway, unless it's a big name. If a guy like JT is 5 stars at everything other than play-calling experience, it wouldn't be a bad move. We have one of the best play-callers in the game sitting in the office next door, ready to take over if he doesn't...

    DT Tommy Togiai (Houston Texans)

At least I wasn't crazy when he came out of college. Just took him a few years to find his mojo in the NFL. True, the Browns didn't give him much opportunity, but he didn't show much when he did get a chance. Biggest problem is that they gave up too quickly.

    Cleveland Browns (Factory of Sadness)

Rodgers doing everything he could to not get sacked by Garrett might have cost them the game. Their offense would have been more productive if he had been willing to take a couple more sacks by looking downfield.

    Cleveland Browns (Factory of Sadness)

I feel like Stefanski will get a job somewhere else and be successful if they fire him. The biggest problems are the ownership meddling and Berry having only one good draft in his time here. If every draft was as good as this past one, the Browns might actually be decent.

Bryce "L" Underwood (QB ttun, for now)

Didn't they bench the best QB in the history of the game for a baseball player?

    DC Matt Patricia (Official Thread)

    With a 100M buyout.

    Cleveland Browns (Factory of Sadness)

Watson isn't going anywhere at least for another year. I'm guessing that's your QB room next year unless somebody makes an offer for Gabriel. Watson is untradable unless there is a major renegotiation. Stupid Jags are ruining the extra first-round pick, so my hope of getting Tate and Downs in...

    Notre Dame (football only discussion)

It sounds like the players voted not to play in a bowl, but they probably should have limited the vote to guys who were out of eligibility. I'd be pretty pissed if I thought I had one more game, then had the rug pulled out from under me because half the team was butt hurt that they didn't make...

    Notre Dame (football only discussion)

The best thing about the 12-team playoff is it keeps more of the best players around to the end. The old bowl system needs to go away unless they can find a way to make the games mean something. Oh, and fuck the Domers.

    DC Matt Patricia (Official Thread)

Has to be clickbait. 1- Hiring our DC worked well for them last year. 2- Matty P has 1 year of calling a college defense, but little to no experience doing the other stuff a college HC has to do. The job is more about being a CEO and recruiting than X's and O's these days, just ask Chip. 3- He...

    Impending Assistant Coach Vacancies

That sounds perfect for Chip. Just sit in your office and draw up plays. We'll bring the recruits to you.

    Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

I think Klatt is giving them too much credit thinking they have a plan and are trying to get DeBoer after the SEC championship game. Even if they had some grand plan, this recruiting cycle set them back years. At this point, they probably would be better off poaching a coach who could bring...

OC/WR Coach Brian Hartline (National Champion, HC at USF, Buckeye OC for this postseason)

I was hoping we paid enough to prevent a move like this, but from his end it makes sense. Much eaiser to go to a smaller school and dominate, then get a job at a top 10ish program in a few years. Much harder to go to a mid P4 school and turn it into a competitor.

OC/WR Coach Brian Hartline (National Champion, HC at USF, Buckeye OC for this postseason)

I feel like Brian Kelly would be the best option for a program that is cool with a coach that hurts/kills kids. That being said how much would you have to get paid to coach someplace that you've been trained to hate for 20+ years. If/when Hartline leaves, I think it will be out of the Big 10...
