Love that DU team. Try to go to a few games a year. This year I sat through 2 bad losses. And they grind out another win against superior talent. It’s all about goaltending in these championship tournaments. Hicks was outstanding.

DU did not have a good season this year. Got off to a slow start and lost quite a few games. The goalie change seemed to be the turning point and then they got hot at the right time. That team is so clutch. I just had a feeling they would tie it up late and steal it in overtime.

This game felt like the Olympic Gold Medal game. Ice was slanted in TCUN’s favor for most of the game but Denver just found a way.
