I agree that any system that limits ESPN's corrupt system is preferable. The rankings system is a joke so you can't just put teams in by just they rankings. You have convinced me.

No more than 3 from any one conference? If you can only take 3 from the ACC, Big 12, Big 10 and SEC, that gives you 12 teams. That leaves you 4 teams from bad non power 5. That is if the ACC and Big 12 doesn't suck. If they have a down year and you only take 2 from each of those, that leaves 6...

I just turned on the game. Is the stadium 3/4 full? There are a lot of empty seats. I would go to the 16 team playoffs and put the bowl system out of it misery. Make it more like the NFL playoffs with home games for these first rounds.
