I'd rather the NCAA do their due diligence and make sure they have everything watertight before rolling out sanctions that will later be repealed a la PedSU and the aftermath of the Sandusky situation. Whatever punishment tcun gets, I want it to stick.
A couple of thoughts on the letter and what it means......
1. It was written and presented to the COI back in June. Why did it just become news now? B1G media days start today......Seems like scUM just leaked this now to try to avoid any uncomfortable or awkward questions....
2. The entire...
I would also add a lifetime ban for Stallions and Harbaugh. I realize that neither is likely to ever coach in NCAA again, but it would still send a strong message......
Who gives a shit how they try to spin it? In fact, I hope they all play the victim, including the Administration, AD, coaching staff and anyone and everyone even remotely affiliated with the university. Wasn't it the same day that the COI was announced, when Harbaugh immediately shot his mouth...
Exactly. Also important to keep in mind - and remind those who insist otherwise - that the NCAA isn't the reason why this is dragging on and on with no final resolution. Ono, Manual, Harbaugh, Moore and everyone else up there refused to cooperate with the investigation, refused to negotiate in...
So, I'm confused..... Which investigation are these recruiting violations a part of? I just can't keep track of all the different investigations......
Also, if someone is already on probation and continues to break the rules, that's usually bad, for the person in probation, right?
"Because of the Regents' and the University's policy and/or practice of deliberate indifference, Plaintiffs had their privacy invaded and were sexually harassed by Weiss."
"Deliberate Indifference" That about sums up the Board of Regents' and the University administration's attitude regarding...
I haven't checked today, but last week I took a few minutes to gauge the reaction over there. It was pretty much the exact same reaction to when the news about Stallions first broke - rogue agent, acted on his own, patting themselves on the back for firing him as soon as the university found...
Weiss is hacking medical records of 150,000 athletes from 2015-2023...... Hairball was there from 2015 to 2023....... coincidence?
This is much ado over a cheeseburger though, right? DFBIA.......
He can (and likely will) still get one - at least the show cause and the same pending suspension that Harbaugh is facing (if he tries to return to CFB coaching).
