Correction: Week 10 was the semiannual @ss ripping which will commence Week 21!8D
We are now over halfway through the regular season and @heisman appears to have the team to beat with a pretty tight grip on first place. May this be the kiss of death on your fine team!
Good thing we switched to OBP from batting average then. If your teams goes 4 for 197 but draws a shit ton of walks, then that’s still a respectable OBP for you!
Lets hope so! Nothing like talking a little fantasy baseball smack at the beginning of the week only for the entire team to take a collective shit as has been the case up to this point. Time to pull thy heads out of thy asses boys!
Posted last Friday before the current losing streak began. As a Reds fan, I understand the sky is falling mentally even when things are going well, especially with this crowd, but that was some Nostradamus level shit right there. Emphasis on the “dam us”. Nice call @Jaxbuck.
I can get got this year. As evidence by the current 6th place in the standings and lackluster performance last week. So far, the team is the very definition of “mid”.
In. This is the year my big underdog makes the Final Four! Oh wait, I never win this thing because I always try to be the smart guy who picks the upsets you say? Eff it, THIS is the year my big underdog makes the Final Four!
My only additional suggestion would be to end the playoffs a week sooner. As it currently stands, the championship week is set for the final week of the season which can be problematic as teams that have clinched playoff spots rest players and teams that are out of it shut down players.
I think of low leverage middle relievers as your innings eaters that are asked to come in when your team is behind. Your setup guys are asked to protect a lead of three runs or less after the 5th inning. IMO, there is a big difference between the two.
And I thought part of the exercise was...
A little surprised we are back to saves and holds as two separate stats, but I don’t really want to argue against it as my idea of both wins and quality starts is not great either. These stats are as good as any I guess.
Where did we land on 6 vs 8 playoff teams? Did the 6ers catch up?
