Lab grown diamonds are chemically, optically, and physically the same as natural mined diamonds, but made in a new way.
There are 2 big differences between mined and lab diamonds: place and price.
- "Place" because natural diamonds come from deep inside the earth and require destructive excavation to unearth. Lab grown diamonds are created in growth chambers by scientists.
- "Price" because mined diamonds cost significantly more than lab created diamonds. Most clients will save between $15-20k on a 2ct diamond when they choose lab grown over mined.
