2025 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

From a 11W poster:

Wiltfong says Ohio State is single handedly holding up the WR market in 2025.

Dakorien Moore, Jaime Ffrench, and Vernell Brown are our top priorities for those final three spots.

There's an entire second tier of players waiting to see if a spot or two opens up: Quincy Porter (who might be tier 1.5), Talyn Taylor, Phillip Bell, Daylan McCutcheon, etc.

The second tier is refusing to commit elsewhere unless they know that the Ohio State door is closed.
The power of Hartline

Rivals Midwest Spotlight Update by Greg Smith. Highlights for Buckeye fans:

1. TSC is in serious contention for his fifth star. Raves about him and to me it is kind of an obvious move with his incredible offseason.
2. Justin Hill got rave reviews and will get a ratings bump. Called him a "terror off the edge".
3. Eli Lee may be getting a "huge bump" on his rating.

Great news. Used to be that tOSU recruits were 'downgraded' by the people who do this sort of thing. Now, it seems, when a recruit gets an tOSU offer, his recruiting stock goes up tangentily and the other big boys weigh in. Guess that's the Ohio State effect nowadays. Do so enjoy seeing tOSU give a kid an offer, and see that. Believe we're truly in a great Ohio State bubble, and we need to enjoy this moment in time.

TAKING STOCK OF OHIO STATE'S 2025 RECRUITING CLASS BEFORE OFFICIAL VISITS AND A POSITION-BY-POSITION BREAKDOWN OF WHO THE BUCKEYES COULD STILL ADD

We’re almost at official visit season.

Ohio State will begin hosting prospects on official visits in less than two weeks, so we figured it would be a good time to check in on where the Buckeyes sit with the 2025 class. The Buckeyes are currently ranked No. 2 in 247Sports’ recruiting class rankings behind Notre Dame. Considering the Fighting Irish have 20 commitments than Ohio State’s 12, that may not be the case for long.

Following a hectic spring with countless visits taken by prospects, the Buckeyes have put themselves in a strong position to land high-caliber recruits at various positions. A lot can happen between now and December’s National Signing Day, but with official visits creeping up fast, we examine the current state of each position for Ohio State's 2025 recruiting class.
