Outstanding pull by Sherrone. Guy is a great recruiter and is clearly moving to a program that prioritizes the rushing attack. With the the head coach being listed as Day-to-Day, and a new OC with a prickly reputation, Alford is clearly moving to a more stable position. Let's hope he brings his horses with him!

Alford had his run here, but the run game has been mighty stale recently and he's had too many big recruiting misses. Of course DFBIA is out here acting like they made some legendary steal though. If the rumblings are true about this being a spite move as well, is that someone you really want on your staff? Someone who makes knee jerk spite moves like a toddler who didn't get his way?

He didn't say that Bike Hart needs to take a coaching spot. He might be good as a hot dog vendor. Ticket-scanner? How about he sits in the stands next to one of Ohio State's "super fans" and wears the jersey for whoever Ohio State is playing, so the camera can show someone crying every time something good happens for Ohio State. Just because you hire a guy doesn't mean he needs to be where he wants to be.
