*2024 tCun Shenanigans, Arguments, Cobras, Feckless Marmots, Fake Pandas, Dirty Cheaters

Each year for the last three we have collectively compared rosters and assured ourselves that the Bucks would crush Michigan. Michigan has everything they need to be successful if they want to.
Last year was about as even that I could remember for a long time. I don't think anybody felt assured last year. In fact Scum was favored by almost the exact point margin as the final score. Scum had 44 seniors on the roster, and full of veterans.

2021 there was defensive issues. 2022 is questionable because there is video footage of that game with the sign stealing allegations.

This year there really is not an excuse.

I feel like that really isn't the case, especially with their Oline. The players they got in past cycles were known commodities.

The kid from MD and TN will probably have an impact. The rest, it would be very surprising.

That is just the D.... they didn't address the O at all.

I’m not worried about the defense. Michigan has 3 players projected in the first round next year from the defense including both defensive tackles. They are bringing back good experience and there are reports that several young players are developing. The only unknowns are a second starting cornerback (Hall or Hill) and depth at the linebacker positions.

You are correct on the offensive side of ball. The quarterback position is an unknown but there weren’t great options in the portal. The wide receiver depth is thin in terms of experience. Oline will be decent. The interior will be strength. Surprised Michigan hasn’t added an offensive tackle in the portal. Michigan will figure out where the offense is in week 2.

Michigan has done well the last several years in the transfer portal adding depth and players that have made an impact that other teams overlooked. They know what they are doing.

People are making fun of them for adding Hall. Hall went to the same school as Verse who transferred from Albany to FSU to become an All American and 1st round pick in the 2024 draft. Not saying he will be a Verse, but there are gems out there in portal who fit into the scheme of what a team is doing.
They've done really well the last few years cheating like a bunch of mother fuckers.

Do you think that Martindale will carry on the same as the previous DC?

True.

Good thing there was zero coaching turnover and all the same people are evaluating the portal talent or this statement would be fuckin ridiculous

Yep the last 2 years transfers really helped anchor that OL. They didn't get those types of guys this year.

It's hilarious DFBIA acts like Michigan basically rotated their OL like hockey lines last year and that everyone has "great meaningful experience" I think we are going to see a very noticeable drop off in their OL play.

In two of those years, they had Conner Stalions and his laminates on the sideline. In the last one, I think most objective Ohio State fans realized that tcun had the better team while we did not have a playmaker at QB for the first time in years. I think it speaks volumes that--with their best team ever--they beat a Kyle McCord led team by a lot less (and arguably needed a bullshit TD call to do it) than the way Conner Stallions allowed them to dominate CJ Stroud led teams.

As soon as the Stallions shit was completely exposed they sure didn't look as dominant.

They just happened to have the benefit of winning the national title in a year where pretty much every other usual powerhouse contender was "down".

Now they have a first time head coach with a downgraded roster, a bunch of meh internal promotion assistants and the guys they did hire from the outside aren't exactly hot commodities either.

I think there's probably enough in the tank compare to the rest of the B1G to avoid a total collapse this year,. the real fall comes next year.
