There's no way I'm releasing that thread from the BP Dungeon.

In short, back in 2008, some Tennessee fan named "McNeil" (his real last name; he also registered using his real first name and his real email address) decided that it would be a good idea to troll BuckeyePlanet. And not just typical Internet trolling (we can handle that sort of thing easily enough, usually with permabans), but some really nasty comments towards us and our beloved Buckeyes. So we decided that we would dox Mr. McNeil by posting his name, telephone number, street address, email address, and place of employment in a thread that he so unwisely started. Some of our less welcoming members used that information to send "gifts" to Mr. McNeil at his place of employment, things such as pen pal letters from people who have little contact with the outside world, subscriptions to magazines that no one reads, and objects that are rarely seen outside of bedrooms. So "McNeiling" someone became our code word for doxing that person in a very mean and nasty way. Don't worry - we don't do that kind of thing anymore, and you seem like a decent enough guy. Govern yourself accordingly (see below), and you'll be okay.

As you might imagine, Mr. McNeil was not happy; his employer was even less happy, allegedly sending us a letter containing the following: "Mr [redacted] McNeil was fired from my company due to the innapropiate [sic] use of the internet and dragging my personal name and company name in your blog/site."

Mr. McNeil then allegedly hired an alleged attorney to threaten us with "tortuous" conduct toward his alleged client. Instead of the commonly used "Very truly yours" or even a simple "Sincerely", said alleged attorney closed his letter with the rather amusing "Govern yourselves accordingly", which also became somewhat of a saying on BP.

Fuckin' amateur.

God, those were the salad days. I was deployed to Iraq when the McNeil saga unfolded and it provided me hours of entertainment during long midnight shifts.

FWIW - Here's a thread that serves as a bit of an index for some of BP's most entertaining threads @TenYearBore :

*EDIT * Ah crap, looks like most of those links no longer work. Drats. I really wanted to revisit the Strassini affair as I lay on the couch this afternoon.

That @TenYearBore has earned respect from @Jaxbuck speaks volumes. Jax isn't shy about getting after the typical Michigan man who's stumbled their way onto this board.

For what it's worth, I too appreciate tenyears contributions thus far and hope they continue.
As do I. I'm just shitting on his team. As if they're a rival or something.

@TenYearBore the first thing you need to do is bitch up and choose positivity.

Also, welcome to BP. I am the defacto dildo expert. So I know a lot about TTUN fans.

Alright, alright, alright...

I am POSITIVELY certain our head coach eats lead paint chips and spent the last four weeks stroking it to old tapes of A-Train running off tackle against Indiana.

Did I do it right? :)

a bonus. I remember losing my shit when yahoo sports shouted out this forum for exposing that clown.
https://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaa...-ohio-state-american-tight-end-191626603.html

I know this is the make fun of Michigan thread, but when you have classics like trey, the presidents thread, strassini, or all that is retard pennstate1985, you have to share that shit.
