Now I fully agree with this! Depending on how bad the sanctions end up being will also depend on how well he’s remembered and welcomed back. And also how bad the sanctions harm the program when it compares to OSU. If Day goes on a tear in conference, and they’re also leveled with sanctions on recruiting AND have to forfeit wins, then I don’t see them welcoming him back.... only as long as he wins.
They were ready to be rid of him and actively wanted to part ways sending him to the NFL after 2019.
Then he started cheating. Can he keep the momentum without Stalions? Roster management isn't looking good right now.
If Minter bolts with Hairball, their roster is getting poached.
FifyHow do you brick 3 free throws in a row as a man?
30% on the year. Is crazy but you live by the sword, die by the sword
He also had the flu! That game wasn't CJs fault. They had eleventy billion big plays that beat us and we couldn't even execute Special Teams!
Here is a post I made early in the 2021 season, almost a year before you joined this board, although it’s possible you were lurking during the 2021 season. I was pointing out the ESPN agenda and bias via CJ Stroud and Bryce Young, who won the Heisman that year with the help of ESPN hype and Tank Bigsby running out of bounds. The ESPN piece was done by Trevor Matich, although I didn’t point that out back then.Shame on us for crucifying this kid
I was always behind Stroud, as were several others on this board, Yet there are posts in this thread of some doubters early in his career as a starter.Stats for 2 QBs who made their first college start last week:
Pass yards..yds/attempt..TD passes..Rush Att…Yards..Total TDs..Turnovers..Pass Efficiency (the official stat, not ESPN's made-up one)
344..........9.1.........4............2......-1.......4..........1.......181.8
294.........13.4.........4............3......13.......4..........1.......222.3
The first is Bryce Young, who all the talking heads are raving about. The other guy plays for tOSU. I saw an ESPN analysis of his first game earlier this week, and they talked about his footwork issues and his improper reads, and only showed him throwing incomplete passes. They didn't bother showing any of the TDs he threw. When they talk about Bryce Young they sure haven't talked about him holding the ball too long on the play where he was stripped and Bama lost possession.
This is all about an agenda for ESPN to influence Heisman voters for the Alabama QB over the Buckeye QB. It will continue all year if it looks like an actual contest between the two.
Chargers and the Falcons have given him 2nd interviews. And Belichick is not a hot name right now,if so he would’ve had a job by now. He’s seen as hire for tickets as much as Hairball is.Belichick is easily the hottest commodity. Arguably Pete Carroll, Mike Vrabel are higher than him too.
If he's so welcomed back, why after several years of begging for jobs is nobody biting? Only 1 team seems to be seriously interested, despite 8 vacancies.
One of the teams that was supposed to be very interested, according to media, didn't even interview him before hiring their guy.
He's hot on the tv, but it doesn't seem like owners and GMs are impressed.
We'll see if the Chargers will finally be the ones to give him a shot after 4+ years of begging.
30% on the year. Is crazy but you live by the sword, die by the swordGeez, even their big stiff can shoot threes.
Okpara obviously cannot. Can we close out please??
