Your favorite team and what you'd like them to do in the draft.

The Packers need defense. Another pass rushing end to compliment KGB would be nice. A stud at OLB to compliment Diggs and Barnett would also be a good choice. They drafted a corner last year in round.... maybe draft another to replace Al Harris (not sure how long he'll be in GB).

Cleveland Browns

Rounds 1-7 - Stop making stupid picks!

Actually, they need so much help it is pathetic. It needs to start with the offensive line, but I don't want a reach at #2. It will be more important what they do with free agency before the draft decisions can really be made.

I'm with LoKy- Green Bay.

Yes, they need defense, particularly run defense. But sooner or later (probably sooner) they'll need an heir apparent to Brett Favre. They should have drafted a solid QB a year or two ago so he could be learning and developing with Favre's direction. It is almost to the point now that they'll have to go fishing in the free agent pool and buy somebody (Drew Brees, anyone?) If not, they should draft a QB with potential.

excellent point. I was one of the idiots that thought Couch would be able to stick around and learn from Brett, replace him and finish his career with success (boy was I wrong :) ). I thought Krenzel would have been a good fit last year for that role. I think Brett will play another 3-4 years unless they win another SuperBowl.... I don't see them drafting a QB in the early rounds until next year or 2006. I would love to see someone like Drew Brees take over for Favre.

Dallas Cowboys
Round 1: Antrel Rolle or Carlos Rogers
Round 1: Taylor Stubblefield
Round 2: Roddy White or Charles Sharon

Or if we don't get Drew Brees, take either Alex Smith or Charlie Frye in the first round.

Bengals

Round 1-Antajj Hawthorne DT, Erasmus James DE, Rodrique Wright DT, Marcus Spears DE/DT, Haloti Ngata DT- any of these guys would be great, although I would prefer a DT, maybe Ahmad Brooks at LB

Round 2-Ciatrick Fason RB, David Baas-G/C-if he comes out, Justin Miller-CB, PacMan Jones-CB-another DT

We need big fat quick nasty DTs-period. A stud MLB would be nice as well. The DEs could be improved upon as well. Given that Chris Perry has done exactly jack shit, Fason or McClendon or Morency in the 3rd round might not be a bad idea.

Steelers

I'll preface our needs by saying I hope we have the last pick in the first round.

1st Round: If we don't re-sign Plaxico Burress we'll need a big time receiver. Mike Williams and Braylon Edwards will be long gone but a receiver with size would be nice to go with Ward and Randle El. If we do re-sign Burress I'd go for the best available athlete with no real glaring weaknesses on the team.

2nd Round: We need another corner so we can finally dump Chad Scott and his huge contract. Townsend, Colclough and Taylor are solid but we could use some depth. Willie Williams isn't getting any younger.

3rd Round: You can't have too many good offensive lineman. If Burress re-signs I might even consider going OL in the first round if there aren't any top flight corners available.

In the later rounds I'd go after a linebacker(wouldn't re-sign Kendrell Bell unless he'd accept an incentive laden deal), tight end, and D-line help.

Morency and Fason are coming back for another year I believe.

Not sure about Morency but Fason announced he's coming out, which pushes Clarett down the draft board another peg. Bummer. :slappy:

Bears:

Trade the top 5 or top 10 pick to get 2 picks in mid or late 1st round. Take a OLB like Ahmad Brooks and then take a small, fast wr that fits our offensive scheme like Mark Clayton.

Bengals:

Number 1 need is on D. They scored a near record 374 points last year. So...
Defense, Defense, Defense
Ends , Tackles , Linebacker

Offense -- I'd like 'em to sign up as many of current squad as they can keep.

Then get a couple of good o-line NFL prospects (medium to late rounds).
Though any o-line needs are likely to be filled in free agency.

This may shift if things blow up on the RB front.

BTW, I like some of the candidates listed on stxbucks post, I'm simply not hopeful that the likes of an Erasmus James will still be there for the taking.

Steelers.

Bucknutty; I agree with just about everything you said. I would love to see them take another strong corner. Scott is less than stellar. Colclough has been a nice surprise this year, but Ike Taylor just doesn't seem to have it. I don't know what it is, but he just always looks confused.

We definitely need to re-sign Burress. The offense sputtered the 4 games he was out. Losing him to free agency would hurt badly.

I wouldn't mind seeing them take a running back either (provided it's not Clarett; I just would not be able to root for him, even in the Black & gold). Bettis, although he is having a great season; his days are numbered.

By the way, I am pretty sure Morency has announced he is entering the draft as well, so that knocks MoC down another peg.
