Plus Cathedral is the big time program in IN and plays good competition right? Not too familiar, so correct me if I am wrong...but if so, it is always a plus to have guys playing great competition and winning championships at a high level.

Class 4A is not the top class in Indiana high school football:

Football:
Class A: <418 students
Class AA: 418-591 students
Class AAA: 592-849 students
Class AAAA: 850-1579 students
Class AAAAA: >1579 Students

Cathedral plays a very tough schedule for being in 4A. They play 2 of the always top teams in the state as they're in their division(Ben Davis and warren central), they played the eventual 3A state champ, and they also play the two catholic cincy powers in St. Xavier and Moeller, as well as playing top KY and national powerhouse Louisville Trinity. The schedule is nothing to sneeze at. And the team they played in state final was also very good, terry still had a 79yd receiving td, 41yd rushing td and 66yd punt return td. This kid has some serious speed.

You don't have to be in the top classification to play top-notch football (e.g., Youngstown Ursuline)...

It's interesting that they went 4-5 in the regular season, averaging 24.7 ppg, but 6-0 in the playoffs averaging 48.5.

Not only to out of state teams, but to nationally ranked teams at that.

The other two losses were to Bishop Chatard* (three time consecutive 3A champ) and perennial power Ben Davis**.

*Bishop Chatard: 13-2 - Losses to Cin. Elder (8-4) & Cardinal Ritter (14-1 2A State Runner-Up)
**Ben Davis: 8-2 - upset in the 1st round of the playoffs by a team that had beaten earlier in the season. Rated #2 in IN by Sagarin (yes Sagarin covers IN HS FB).
