WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Must not be too much of a lie. Rivals.com has his list trimmed to Florida, Ohio State, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, and yes, Pittsburgh.

Must not be much of the truth either...

There was also a report on ESPN: The Worldwide Leader In Sports last week that said I'm now considering Pitt again. That's not true at all. I like Pitt, and like I said before, I think their coaches are all great guys. I'm not just saying that so they read this, either. I think highly of them. But Pitt is just not the place for me.

I love the way Todd Boeckman has played thus far this season. He's taken on a leadership role both physically and verbally. Still, Todd's not the type of QB that strikes fear into opposing defenses or their coordinators I'm guessing. Terrelle Pryor on the other hand is a matchup and gameplanning nightmare! Great wheels, excellent arm strength and uncanny vision. The decision making, accuracy and leadership qualities (not saying he's not a leader right now) will all come with experience. He'll have the best facilities in the country here. He'll have great playmakers and a humongous Oline. The fan support is second to none I don't care what the SEC jackasses have to say! Whats not to like? Oh, by the way, there's also some guy named Thad Matta that thinks Terrelle can help out his guys as well. How many schools in the nation can say that they will be playing in the NC game and the Final Four in the same season, and actually be realistic? Maybe 2 or 3 and no others within 1000 miles of his current home.

Recruiting Diary: College choices narrowed to six to avoid craziness

Thursday, September 27, 2007

Jeannette High School quarterback/defensive back Terrelle Pryor is ranked the No. 1 player in the country by several scouting services and is being recruited by colleges nationwide. Throughout the season and until he makes a college decision, the Post-Gazette will periodically run a diary from Pryor, as told to sports writer Mike White.
I narrowed down my list of colleges to six last week because if I didn't, it would've driven me crazy having to deal with all the teams.
The six teams are Ohio State, West Virginia, Florida, Penn State, Tennessee and Texas. It's exciting to think I'm going to be dressed in one of those teams' uniforms next year.

A lot of people think Ohio State is my favorite, but I wouldn't say that. There's a long way to go and a lot of researching to do. I like other teams, too.

Footballs, basketball with Pryor's signature on sale on Internet site
Thursday, September 27, 2007
Terrelle Pryor's name is known nationally. The Jeannette senior quarterback/defensive back is ranked the No. 1 player in the country by some scouting services.
Now some people are actually trying to make money off his name.
Three footballs and a basketball with Pryor's autographs are being sold on eBay. They are going for anywhere from $49.99-$99.99.
Jeannette coach Ray Reitz said Pryor has signed numerous autographs, never thinking anyone would try to sell them.
