WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Former Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor gets probation from altercation in which he was stabbed

Shalaya Briston, who allegedly stabbed Pryor, received two years' probation after pleading guilty to simple assault. Briston had faced charges of felony attempted homicide and aggravated assault.

"I'm very pleased, and everyone involved is happy to ... put this to bed and move on to the next chapter of their lives," Pryor's attorney, Stephen Colafella, said, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette....
.
Pryor and Briston remain romantically involved, according to Colafella.....

Just sayin': I seriously hope I'm wrong here, but unfortunately (I'll predict) that the NCAA in their usual arrogance, indifference, and incompetence will the just file the request without even providing a response to it.

“We are calling for our school records and legacy to be restored so that Buckeye Nation can look at us with the same love and fondness that we've always had for them.”

We never looked at them any different. In my mind, we won the 2010 Sugar Bowl and only had 1 loss in 2010. Pryor is one of my favorite Buckeyes(and should've won a Heisman), as is Boom. I think Posey was under utilized, and Adams never lived up to potential, and that our 2011(possible) NC was ripped from us and those 4(Thomas was a depth guy, he made little noise) didn't get to properly develop.

Yep. I didn't begrudge them for any of it.

Also I'm torn of the whole retroactive stuff. Yes it was a dumb rule that no longer applies but it's also the rules you played under at the time. It seems silly to go back and judge the past by the modern rules. Do one day we pretend the death penalty to SMU never happened?

Sports fans don't really remember sanctions as much as they remember what happened. Yes, his Heisman was taken away, but that in no way takes away from the amazing plays that Reggie Bush had. Miamis sanctions don't take away from some truly great teams they had back in the day. OU had some insane stories in the Switzer days, but he's still considered one of the greatest CFB HCs of all time, and his teams are still considered some of CFB's best. CFB and sports in general are littered with sanctions and punishments yet in still fans remember the exploits during play more than they do the occurrence. And whether that's right or wrong, or you agree or disagree with the morality of it, it's honestly just the fact. For every fan that lambasts the Fab 5, there are countless fans who loved their play and style. I barely see anyone even bring up that UNC had tutors doing players' work, yet Roy Williams is still beloved. Tom Osborne is loved by every corner of NE, but let someone who beat his gf play in a bowl game because they didn't believe they could win without him...

It was BS! Period. Their merchandise to do with as they please. But Johnny Football can make $10k signing autographs. OK
I agree the rule was stupid, but it was the rule and the players knew it. Once again though, it wasn't what the players did that caused the sanctions ( other than their suspensions) It was Tress lying to the NCAA about his knowledge of it and signing the compliance statement before the 2010 season claiming he knew of no violations. It was later shown that he was aware of the violations in the spring of 2010. THAT'S why OSU got hammered ( right or wrong).

Yup. I don’t begrudge the kids for anything. I do, however, begrudge the coach who lied about what he knew. I know my opinion is not oft shared, and I also know that the program is far better off now than we could have ever imagined… butterfly wings and all… but it’s JT who should be partitioning for their records to be reinstated as much as any of them.
