WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

SKULL SESSION: LOOKING BACK AT J.T. BARRETT'S LEADERSHIP, THE BIG3 TO LAUNCH AN APRIL TOURNAMENT, AND TERRELLE PRYOR COULD SWITCH TO TIGHT END

THE YEAR OF THE TIGHT END.
Terrelle Pryor's been stuck in free agency for a bit, but it looks like he's about to give his career another jump start with another position change.

Well, that sounds like a matchup disaster for some poor linebacker. Imagine drawing that short stick and having to shut down a seam route from a tight end that runs a 4.38.

And wait until they motion him into the backfield and have him take a direct snap. People forget, this is a thing that happened in the NFL:

I am disappointed whenever I see his name pop up... Beyond elite tier of physical attributes yet didn't step up on the other characteristics to fulfill what could have been a historic career/life

I disagree. Overall he didn’t match the hype but I don’t think he was all that far off. Considering the talent around him was not at the level guys like Braxton and prettt much every other QB after him had. He put up good numbers a lot and won a good amount of games.

@BigthickThaddeus_gibson09 in college, not sure he had the camaraderie thing going for him... that his fellow players felt he was a foxhole type of guy. most importantly, didn't feel he worked on his next-level QB techniques.. counted on his God-given skills.. I guess I expected someone with this obscene level of athletic skill to be elite in the NFL as well... I would have expected a bigger, stronger Michael Vick in the pros.

His QB coach in college was Nick Siciliano. I’m not sure he’s entirely to blame for being behind on developing an NFL caliber skill set throwing the ball.

You're actually making my point... everything was there for him... but PRYOR didn't put forth the effort...
He didn’t put forth the effort to have a better position coach? Or an offensive coordinator capable of designing mildly coherent schemes to prepare him for the next level?

There is plenty of blame to go around.

7. TERRELLE PRYOR, 2010
After arriving onto campus as the highest-rated player to commit to the Buckeyes in the modern recruiting era, Terrelle Pryor put it all together in 2010. The junior standout contributed over 60% of his team's total yards (fourth in program history) while completing over 65% of his passes (fifth in program history).

Pryor finished his career with two Big Ten Championships and was Denard Robinson's runner-up to the conference's Most Valuable Player award in 2010. He has the third-most career passing touchdowns in Ohio State history.

90 days probation.

Former Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor gets probation from altercation in which he was stabbed

Shalaya Briston, who allegedly stabbed Pryor, received two years' probation after pleading guilty to simple assault. Briston had faced charges of felony attempted homicide and aggravated assault.

"I'm very pleased, and everyone involved is happy to ... put this to bed and move on to the next chapter of their lives," Pryor's attorney, Stephen Colafella, said, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette....
.
Pryor and Briston remain romantically involved, according to Colafella.....
