Not all but some of the scrutiny he invited leading clear back to his recruiment and what I like to call THE DECISION I...signing day wasn't good enough for him .

IIRC, he was in the middle of leading his team through the state basketball playoffs and didn't have time to take some official visits that he wanted to take before making his decision.

I like how some of the members of this fanbase did what ESPN, SI, etc. did. They jumped the gun and assassinated Pryor's character without any facts.

Does Pryor say stupid things? Yes. Has Pryor lost respect some from of his teammates? Yes. But this gives us no right to jump all over the kid for driving HIS car to the WHAC. People need to chill. Pryor could be gone, we don't know. But do we really want to bad mouth a kid who could very well still be repping the S&G next season?

I know lots of people wanna lay this at the feet of the "tat5", but Tress is gone because of Tress. Tressel should have reported it, but didn't. I love JT, best OSU coach to grace the sidelines IMHO. It's a shame how he went out, but I think we all need to stop the blame game, and rally around the program.

/rent....

The media following him around is horseshit. This goes all the way back to how a grown man in the media should handle himself in regards to commenting on TP.

OTH, if you make poor decisions and put your "wants" ahead of your teammates then you better damn well expect to suffer the consequences. This goes for any player on the team but it sure as hell applies to the team leader. Probably two-fold.

So should we rank the players that make mistakes by there statistics and projected draft status. I think we should hold all of the players to the same accountability.

The first athlete ever to be in this situation..give me a break...

IIRC, Pryor avoided signing on NSD to avoid the massive backlash at the upcoming state basketball tournament...which was held in none other then....you guess it, Happy Valley. Also I believe TP took no visits after NSD, he was a Buckeye long before that....

I recall that his father asked him to delay the announcement - the feeling was that his father wanted him to still consider Penn State, and that was the reason for the initial delay. The basketball playoffs were given as the official reason, but that may not have been the case.

Right away, many took that as a sign of him being a prima dona. And I think most of them now think that's been proven to be the case.

It definitely looks that way.

which reports indicate was purchased by his mother who is making $300 a month payments after trading in his old car.

Lets see...I have a meeting to get to, i just traded in my old car, I have a new car in my driveway. How would I go to the meeting?

It seems this new car is legit. Now all the loaners and stuff who knows. The kid deservess scruitiny but this is getting ridiculous. Hell, he has an attorney making statements to the press about his car insurance status. He may be a knuckle head but he doesn't deserve this....IMHO

And the car can be completely legit - looks like it is - but there is a thing called perception, and it would be wise to ask - in the context of having the worldwide leader in sports, and every other media fool watching your every move and salivating over anything to break the next big story in this mess - "How is this going to look?" It looked bad. Another question he could ask himself: "What can I do to make sure I do not feed this monster?" That level of mature thinking is not where TP operates. I think a 22 year old is capable of it.

I agree that he is taking more abuse than is probably due him, but to whom much is given, much is required. If he wants to be a leader of the Ohio State Univ Buckeye football team, he can't take on that larger status without taking on the responsibilities of that status. I see a strain of immaturity in Pryor throughout his time in Columbus, and I have just wanted to see some growth by this point in his career. Sorry, I don't see it.
