Yea. I'm kind of torn on seeing so few passes by TP. Is he developing? How could we tell even if there are no interceptions?

just seeing him throw the ball away and not forcing anything is a huge sign of improvement. hes made excellent decisions the last month and clearly he has grown a lot since the purdue game

There were a couple of plays today where he quit running to avoid contact and cost us 1st downs. This had been a problem earlier in the year but I thought TP had improved on this over the last several games. I can't help but think of Krenzel and Smith doing whatever it took to get a first down, especially in this game. His decision making has improved tremendously over the last several games but I am still waiting to see him develop into the leader I hope he will become.

Well my question is, why is Tressel so afraid to use Pryor?

Pryor doesn't get recruited as the Number 1 prospect in the Nation and then just give us what he's given us thus far. It seems to me that two thins they are doing which is harming him is;

1. Trying make Pryor a Pocket Passer at the Expensive of his natural ability to Run.

2. Protecting him from 'INTs' by never letting him throw down field (Posey is open more times then not, I know Pryor's accuracy isn't the best, but have him work on that instead of outside hooks for 7 yards.)

Option Plays, Trick Plays, Plays that have J. Hall involved, this has got to help out Pryor.

Thankfully thought Pryor showed this weekend a very good ability to throw the ball away instead of forcing things which aren't there. That helps the team and the Defense all around.

He seemed better at the long ball earlier in the season as well. The last couple of weeks he has been horrible with the long ball. He is over throwing people by a long way and is not even close. I am not sure what is with that.

Have you been watching Ohio State football at all this season? You couldn't possibly post this if you had been...

im still sticking to the fact that since the nmsu game pryor has been hurt. he just looks different when he runs which is the reason we are protecting him

ya i agree...he just doesnt look as confident running the ball.
when he would cut the corner on running plays yesterday it just seemed like he didnt want to run through the tackle like he has. i think his ankle must really be bothering him

[sarcasm]Yeah... like when he shouldered the cornerback back three yards and then went out of bounds. [/sarcasm] :bonk:

I don't know what it is with you, brother; but it seems like you're late to every punchline or note of information that passes through this website.
