WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

My guess is that TP will, as we say in Da ATL, "show out" on Saturday. The season is about holding your breath and doing what you can (without showing too much) to get to The Game healthy and undefeated. Now, I hope, we'll see what JT has been hiding. I hope that he'll turn TP loose and I can enjoy the lesser holiday season after The Highest of Holy Days.

What we need from TP on Saturday is not cockiness or conservatism, it's moxie. I think it's starting to make sense to him, he is turning the corner.........on the verge of being great. When that does happen, he is going to make a mockery of opposing defenses.

Agree. I just want a win this Saturday, but 400 total yards and 5 TDs from Pryor would be cool too. But I'd take a PSU performance in a second as well.

If he doesn't turn it over (and I don't think he will if he didn't these past two weekends) then it will be extremely difficult for UM to win. Do that and OSU wins 35-10 or something.

Pryor showing less flash, but OSU picking up more wins
By Todd Porter
CantonRep.com staff report

COLUMBUS ? .As a young quarterback develops, there are subtle, often unseen, signs of progress. Little that Terrelle Pryor does goes without being noticed.

Few, however, recognized what Ohio State?s sophomore quarterback did late in last week?s win against Iowa. Ohio State senior offensive lineman Jim Cordle did.

?He saved my butt,? Cordle said.

Early in the fourth quarter of a 10-10 game, the Buckeyes faced a third-and-10 from the Iowa 30. If they didn?t convert, OSU likely would have punted and tried to play field position.

Pryor took a snap out of the shotgun and immediately headed for a huge hole off left tackle where Cordle was.

?That wasn?t designed,? Cordle said. ?We had a shallow (pass) to our tight end called. That play right there shows how far Terrelle has come.?

Anybody notice the helmet switch with Pryor? Against NMSU he started wearing a Revolution helmet and also wore it against Minny and PSU. Last weekend he had his regular helmet on. Anybody else notice this? Maybe he's a little bit more banged up then we have known.

Which brings me to my other thing. I really admire his toughness. We all knew about his uncanny athletic ability and his winner attitude but I look around the country and see a bunch of other QBs limping off the field with the same injuries TP has. Look at Jimmy Clausen. He's got a turf toe and he sure as hell makes sure everyone knows about it. TP has TWO turf toes and I didn't even know about it. He's got a bump ankle and I'm suspicious about a possible concussion. This kid is a gamer. For that, we salute you TP. :oh:

He started wearing it at Purdue. No head issues, just a friendly wager for helmets

He is tough though he's been playing through alot. No concussion. All his health issues are leg related (hammy, ankles, toes).

I dont know if were going to need a breakout game from him. If hes still hobbled were just going to run it down their throats. TP DOES play better on the road, and we have nothing to hold back (Off playcalling wise), from embarrassing the shitweasels.
