WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

I was referring to a couple of read-ops where he handed off when the DE crashed the middle leaving him with a ton of room. With that said, it is easy to understand that he made the wrong read (in my armchair QB opinion only) because he is still only a sophomore.

I watched those plays again and it almost looked to me like they were straight handoffs. I don't think TP had the option to keep those.

You can tell that JT is trying to minimize the hits that TP is taking. The "Wild Buck" is a way to get some rushing yards out of the shotgun but keeping Pryor healthy.

then we needed a big play on 3rd down and he let Pryor loose for that big gain on the draw. He might not have been that explosive had he taken a bunch of hits through the game.

Well hopefully Pryor's got one more game in him to get his team to victory. It's going to be tough, it's going to be hard, but if Pryor does what he's been doing the past 4 weeks we'll be OK. After that Michigan game he'll have over a month to heal up and get ready for the Pac Ten and the Rose Bowl. The guy's not only being careful now but what I noticed in the Iowa game is that he threw his throws with authority, and that's huge if he can continue that.

You can do it!!! (Rob Schneider)

Terrelle, great job the last few weeks and really, great job all season. We know you can do it, and yes, we know the coaches are being maybe just a wee bit too careful with you, but I think they want to make sure you have the proper depth of understanding about tough defenses...

You just beat Penn State and Iowa in a row. Woo hoo!!! That's crazy man!

Now, you need to give next week the proper respect. As in, I have been in that stadium up north when Ohio State was supposed to win and didn't... don't let it happen to you, man.

they are going to have 12 in that box, especially after watching the OSU-Iowa game, so you know Coach T is gonna open it up, run wide, you name it.

Go Bucks!

Here are TP's stats after the Purdue mess......

46 of 82 = 56%
592 yards passing - 148 per game
5 td's 1 int
134.54 passer rating

37 runs 266
7.2 ypc
3 td's no fumbles

8 td's 1 TO 858 yards of offense

And that is with a half off against NMSU and 2 games injured against the 2 other top defenses in the Big 10/country.

The pass attempts dropped dramatically the last 2 games and I believe him being hurt had alot to do with that along with the re-emergence of the run game.

Exactly. This is what I feared when he recruited all those little guys. Easy to slip the extra guy in there when they are small and sneaky. It's time to be very worried if you are an Ohio State fan. RichRod has been saving it all.

He exudes "winning plan", just look at him, he's got a plan for Pryor...

Much ado about nothing...

But a friend from "that school" grasped at straws and pointed out that "Pryor is no better than any other athlete- partying underage after games".

Sent me this link: Busted Coverage

Photos include Hall (also underage). Nothing inappropriate, and the only trouble would be for the bar management for allowing underaged adults in against their stated policy.

My response to him- "When Buckeyes do it, they're celebrating wins and championships. When scUM does it, they're drowning their sorrows."

Anyway, FWIW.

That bar was right down the street from my apartment and we sure as hell weren't 21 when we were in there. Things sure have changed in a couple years... that place was empty when it first opened (which is why we liked it).

I heard every bar on High St. is 21+ now? No more 18+ bars?

Regardless: non-issue.
