WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Heard Mike Farrell on Rivals Radio this AM...he mentioned Terrelle and said it is a two team race between tOSU and PSU and that he fully expects other schools to jump in, but felt that he would end up at one of the two schools - and that he wants to play for winning programs (football and hoops).

TP allegedly told Farrell that football will be his #1 sport...not hoops as originally thought when he committed to Pitt for hoops. I think TP realizes he is a freak on the gridiron, but there are a ton of 6'6" swingmen on the hard court, and hence, his future is with the oblong shaped ball, not the round one.

At any rate, the host (Bill King) of the radio show said, well if he wants to play for two solid programs, he would have to go to tOSU over PSU b/c their hoops are atrocious!

Hopefully TP heard that...

The mind of a 16-year-old can change 180 degrees during a 9-month period.

True, but he's not saying he wants to stay home because that is where he wants to play. He's saying that because it would help his father out. His father's disability isn't going to change in that time.

All it takes to change that might be for the father to say something like "son, do what is best for yourself."

I'm not scared one bit about PSU getting TP. Pitt, however, is another story. No inside info, but from reading this thread over the past 9 months or so, Pitt's the threat... not PSU. I like our chances tremendously over the NittWitts.

Not really when he's said he doesn't really want to stray far from home.

As I said in my post yesterday (and this is not speculation) that is not necessarily the case.

And keep in mind that :sneaky: is on the prowl...

Rivals $

5/1

From the Texas site...more annointing Terrelle as the next Vince Young. His coach specifically mentions Texas, Florida and West Virginia as schools that run an offense Terrelle would best fit in and also mentions Ohio State, Texas, USC and Florida as schools he is seriously considering. His coach also mentions that distance may not be as big of an issue as many think.
