WR Johnnie Dixon (New Orleans Breakers - USFL)

Dixon's really good and is probably a guy we would try to make room for, but I don't know if he really fits into this class that great. We took 3 speedy under 6 feet WRs last year and already have a couple good ones committed in this class.

I know we were lacking these types of players when Urban got here, but the real need seems to be for a bigger outside guy. Especially since some seem to think Lonnie Johnson eventually ends up on defense.

Basically, I would like to get Dixon but won't really view him as a loss if he ends up at Miami, which looks likely.

IMO, that's where Noah brown fits in. He'd be our big outside WR, but also has good speed. If we were to get Dixon, he, mclaurin, James Clark and Curtis Samuel would play in the slot. I think he'd fit our offense because I'm sure there will be times where we may go 4-5 wide and put the fastest players on the field and Dixon would be one of them.
But like I've said before, I see Dixon staying home and going to Miami. Though I don't rule out what our coaching staff can do on the recruiting trail

I see Dixon playing outside, not the slot. As of now, I agree that Dixon is probably headed to Miami. That being said, there's a ton of time between now & signing day and I think the staff will chase him until then.

No. 1 Dwyer 51, Jupiter 7: QB Daniel Parr helps Panthers continue to dominate rival Warriors
By Joseph Kairalla
Special to The Palm Beach Post

The junior quarterback threw for three long TDs before halftime. The first came on 32-yard out route to Ezra Saffold, the second on a 66-yard screen pass to Smith, and the final score of the half was a 53-yard post to Johnnie Dixon.

I believe he was talking about Rudolph to FSU...

I understand that. But, I was stating that neither seems like the most realistic option with Rudolph most likely headed to fsu and Dixon heavily favored to Miami. I wouldn't give up on him, but it sure seems to me that he's considering Osu but is still heavily favored to Miami.
