I share the sentiment from you and @BuckeyeNation27, not too much of a surprise. Hopefully he finds a place where they can use him properly and we see him playing on Sundays. Just too much depth at OSU. Wouldn't be surprised to see more transfers by the season

I'm a little disappointed as well, but there are multiple, better, younger options available at this point. Jameson is a bit of a 1 trick pony, but it's a good trick....he can get vertical.

I liked that threat on the field, but also recognize, we have much better route runners, and guys who can get yards after catch.

Good luck Jameson...will be pulling for you wherever you land.

As a side note...Jameson and Max Wray could join just about any P5 school together, and make their offense significantly better.

Last season, Williams played 308 snaps for the Buckeyes, the third-most of any wide receiver, nearly doubling Jaxon Smith-Njigba's 163 snaps. In his two seasons in Columbus, Williams caught 15 passes for 266 yards and three touchdowns. Smith-Njigba is expected to replace Williams in the starting lineup this season, however, with Wilson moving from the slot to the X receiver position Williams started at in 2020.

Just sayin': Apparently he realized that he was being passed on he depth chart by some younger players. As they say in football "next man up" and apparently it is Smith-Njigba.

Regardless, it appears that he is leaving on good terms so as far as I'm concerned "Once a Buckeye always a Buckeye"; I wish him well at his new school....:nod:

Bummer, but that’s the nature of the beast when it comes to the level that Ohio State has been recruiting at the position. Williams has tons of speed, and will be a great addition to any offense he joins. Just don’t go to another B1G team, please.

Or your using a quote made by Garrett Wilson and not Jameson Williams.

Damn. Don't like it even though it's not all that shocking. I think he would have had a fairly significant role in our offense this season but can't blame him really after Olave came back and the younger guys stepped up like they did. Best of luck Jameson.

Yep. Not surprising, it's a loaded position, but I really liked Williams' speed and upside. He flashed a few times last year. Hope he finds a good place to play.
