Who will step up in 2010?

Colvinnl

Heisman
Does anyone care to make some predictions about new players who will make an impact in 2010? I am thinking about the guys who were redshirted or otherwise did not receive much playing time. (i.e., 2010's version of Rolle, Simon, Torrence, etc). Two positions stick out here: the replacements for Spitler and Coleman since no one else really got much playing time there.

So who made noise on the scout team or who are you excited to see take the field?

I am excited to see which linebacker (Bell, Klein, or Sabino) plays a big role next year since all three came in with a lot of fanfare.

defense - bino and klein i think will make a big impact on defense (especially at LB with rolle and homan). torrence will step up big also
offense- tp puts up heisman numbers, saine will emerge as the #1 back (maybe some jordan hall in the mix), ALL receivers have pretty impressive years also
special teams- buchanon at punter, posey emerges as main punt returner

Tyler Moeller

Wouldn't be surprised to see Jordan Hall handling more of the punt returns, Posey was the sure handed guy to take over during the RB, but I'm not sure if Tressel will want to use his #1 receiver if he's got a guy like Hall that proves themselves capable

I feel like Saine and TP have already arrived. Torrence too because he had one of the quietest seasons at CB that I can remember (which is a good thing!).

Seems like this will be easier to assess after the Spring game, but for now I'll say I'm hopeful that Goebel, Nathan Williams (that Miami speed ) and Moeller shine brightly next year on D.

For the O, I'm hopeful that the tackles Adams and Shugarts take steps forward and I'd really love the surprise to be "TE eligible plays" and Stoney making a big impact (but that's just me wishing...)

Offense - Marcus Hall @ LT and Chris Fields @ WR
Defense - Dorian Bell or Storm Klein @ LB and O. Johnson @ S

With all of the hype Bell came in with I believe he will find somewhere to make an impact on the 2010 team.
