Both RB numbers are significantly over-exaggerated.

Clarett didn't break 100 yards against the 2002 Miami, he damn sure isn't doing it against Saban and the Tide.

I'd probably put that game as Alabama +3, for the most basic reason that Nugent was much more of a weapon than any Alabama kicker.

Miami actually had a prolific multidimensional offense and could not score more than 17 points in regulation. Alabama may have had a good running game, but I don't see how that alone could score 41 points on a defense that gave up less than 80 ypg rushing.

Call me a homer...the 2002 team doesn't lose to anyone from any time period....ever. They didn't know how to lose. And there is no questionable pass interference call at the end if the refs had a clue what a hold looked like throughout the game.

This. I think we would fuck Alabama and Saban up so badly, Saban would have to retire and Alabama would end up disbanding their football program.
