What happened at the end?

Hawk made an amazing INT to get the ball back. While running out the clock the MSU defense was sleepwalking through the plays and Mo broke one to the outside and no one caught him.

it was an amazing play bigguns......troy smith went back and pulled the old statue of liberty where ginn took the ball from smith and sprinted left....he quickly stopped and lateralled all the way across the field to a wide open mo hall.......

all hall had to do was turn on the jets and go......the biggest surprise was freshman steve rehring outrunning hall to get infront and make a block 45 yards down field that allowed hall to do his strut to the zone....

great play...

Truly classic. Could you believe Tressels been sitting on that play all year?

I think that if MSU wouldn't have been burning timeouts, and therefore forcing OSU to make a first down, things wouldn't have turned out the way they did. OSU / Tressel has always just taken four knees in that situation. I guess, in a way, you could argue that L. Smith brought it (that final T.D.) on himself.

Got back to Buckeye land to view my tape of this game and caught all but 30 seconds - which of course means I don't have the Mo Hall's final trip to the house to look over :(

(Mechanical difficulties are always resumed in the final 30 seconds of any tape I really want to view!)

Anyone got a clip or similar media of this play available?

just get some neighborhood kids to reenact it. first, seperate the kids into 2 teams. then get everybody on defense together and say, "kids, i know this may be the wrong time to bring this up, but there is no santa claus." while they are crying have the kids on offense line up in goal line formation and have the RB fake up the middle and kick it to the outside.
