A single BP resource for times when social media trends, references, and memes completely baffle my mind. This was going to be the starting topic because I completely missed the boat on wtf is going on.

The black is debatable and easy to misunderstand just how badly a crappy cell phone is going to depict a dark cloth washed out by lighting while pointed straight into a freaking light bulb. There are shades of gold, brown in the "black".

The blue is inescapably blue and a great reason why cell phones are terrible at taking photos. The actual product is blue. Here's a photoshop eye dropper from the middle of the dress, with that exact color's gradient pasted above to show how you get back to the actual color (by just adding more of the same shade of blue)
