What book are you currently reading, or recommend?

fun easy read... lots of common sense stuff but a fun read

Agree....and if you are an audio book person....the Scottish accent makes it better. EDIT: NVMD, I was thinking of Unf*ck Yourself for the awesome Scottish twang. Same lane...similar message, different slant.

About half way through Red Rising. It's Sci Fi, and I had multiple people recommend it. It's well written and so far it is basically a darker Hunger Games. Great world building. It's first of a trilogy, if you liked A Song of Fire and Ice (Game of Thrones) then you'll probably dig this too. Good so far...

Good book even when a re-read.

Another of his I'll pick up again in the fall every couple of years or so and read again is 'Something Wicked This Way Comes'...great book and captures my favorite season perfectly.
Bradbury is eminently re-readable. Something Wicked is amazing, as is the Jason Robards movie which haunts my childhood memories, but my true favorite fall RB story is The Halloween Tree... which is also the greatest cartoon Halloween special EVER!!

Speaking of seasons, Bradbury in summer is all Dandelion Wine.

It went off the rails a bit down the stretch and was particularly preachy in doing so, but the first 2/3rds of the book was simply magnificent. If you get halfway through this book and don't want to go plant a tree, you need to read it again.
