Every Friday, tBBC staff compiles what they want to see on the field on Saturday. Here are this week’s list of what we want to See on Saturday against the Minnesota Gophers.

MaliBuckeye

12 Gauge Time: OK, Cardale… it’s your show. Let’s see how you can make magic happen.

Slobber Knocker: Minnesota plays a lot of “load the box, stop the run” defensive schemes… Perfect for the Buckeye Offensive Line to show their prowess. Without that one thing.

Old Man Braxton: As the Buckeyes’ senior citizen, it’s time to see some of the wrinkles that Brax brings to the offense and some of the nightmares that other defensive coordinators will be facing.

Special Score: It’s been a while since we had a kick or punt return for a TD… I think they’re due, don’t you?

Youth: I’d love this game to be one that allows some of the young Bucks to get some playing time… if not now, it’s probably redshirt season.

Michael Smith

Fast Start: Ohio State has started slow in all of Jones starts this year. Jump on Minnesota early and it’s over.

Miller Time: XBrax360 is listed as a QB for this game. Coaches say shoulder is 100% I’d start him if it was me. But seeing him doing anything other than just take off with the ball would be cool.

Impress the Committee: It’s now a beauty contest. You must get style points now. In this day and age of college football it’s not “Did you win?” it’s “How much did you win by?”

Marshall Redemption: No fumbles this year!

Ken Kohl

A Win: Looking good while getting the win will help with The Committee.

No Injuries: No need to explain.

No Turnovers: Gophers will be a tough out, no need to aid and abet.

No Penalties: See above.

WVaBuckeye

Play Action Cardale: The one thing really missing from the arsenal while he was the starter is the play action that made him deadly in the play-off run. Have to get Ezekiel going first of course, but unleash that early!

Defense Wins Championships: Can we overstate this much? I do not believe so!

Gopher Stew: Make sure that they don’t come in and hang around on either side of the ball. Offense and defense needs to show no mercy the nest two weeks to send a message.

MDotySr

Domination: Go out there and annihilate on both sides of the ball!

300: Cardale to have a big game with 300 plus yards and 4 TD’s.

Webbing: Damon to get an a pick 6, just because I think he’s earned it.

No Injuries: Self explanatory.

Second Team Action: Love to see some of the Buckeye depth play and preserve a shutout!

Beauty and the Beast: For me and my daughter to be on the Big Screen.

JC Collingsworth

Buckeyes out Strong & Fast: Cardale is getting a 2nd shot. Just as last year when he stepped into the starting position he delivered. It goes back to my theory that he is best off the bench. This is precisely a “similar” situation as last year (of sorts). I feel he will deliver.

More of Braxton: Let’s utilize this offensive threat to the fullest. MSU & TTUN are in the horizons. It is time to play Big.

Buckeye Nation Shuttering their Lips & Stop Whining: All is not lost. Even with the #3 ranking in the CFP? Who cares? Remember last year?

Miami & Duke game overturned: Duke was cheated – flat-out. The League Officials need to step up and make the right call. The Game was over – kaput!

Brandon Zimmerman

Confident 12 Gauge: I want to see the confident Cardale Jones we all grew to love during the magical three game stretch last year. He went into every game during that run knowing he was going to throw the ball all over the defense. I don’t know if the loss of Devin Smith killed any confidence he had in the deep ball but I want to see him chuck the ball around.

Competent Run Defense: If Minnesota pulls off the upset, it won’t come at the hands of Mitch Leidner. The Gophers average over 155 yards a game on the ground. The Buckeyes give up over 150 yards a game. If they can shut down the run and force Leidner to beat them, Bosa and Co. will have a field day.

Braxton Being Braxton: I am such a huge Braxton Miller fan I don’t even want to hide it anymore. I think we are close to seeing him fully unleashed on the competition. I’m talking running the ball, catching the ball, and THROWING the ball. After all he has done for this program, I am genuinely excited every time he scores a touchdown.

Patrick Jones

Throw Braxton Throw: I believe Braxton takes over in the redzone and Id love to see a TD pass.

ZEEEEKKKKEEEE: finally time to get him into the forefront of the Heisman talk. How about a 300 yard game.

Shutout: At times last week the Minnesota offense looked awful, let’s get that shutout.

Joe Dexter

Big Plays For Zeke: Ezekiel Elliott is averaging 28 yards per touchdown score this season. I want to see three touchdowns on plays 28 yards or longer.

Four Plays Over 15: The Silver Bullets have held three teams this season to less than four plays over 15 yards. I want to see that on Saturday against a depleted Minnesota team.

Run,Catch,Throw it Braxton: Three touchdowns for Braxton Miller in three different ways would be insane!

Redemption for Cardale: I want to see Cardale settle in and toss for over 250 yards and two touchdowns.
