Washington Commanders (official thread)

Washington Football Team could break NFL mark set in 1930s with another sour first half

The Washington Football Team has one win this season and is still vying for a chance to win the NFC East division given the rest of its rivals’ sputtered start to 2020.

One Washington reporter noted that despite being very much alive in the division, the team could post a historic futile mark against another team that has been drowning to start the season -- the New York Giants.

“This stat is impossible - Washington has now trailed at halftime by at least 10 points in 7 straight games going back to last season. Per @EliasSports, that ties an NFL record with the Brooklyn Dodgers (1942-1943) and the Chicago Cardinals (1939),” NBC Sports Washington’s JP Finlay tweeted.

WFT fans should be pissed as hell at Rivera for selling their future down the river to attempt to win some games with Allen....

Games like this would have been great for Haskins to grow.
I don't know what you're talking about. Haskins didn't look good against Baltimore....so clearly playing against garbage like NYG wouldn't have helped somehow.

The hilarious art of this is all the rumors and innuendo that Haskin's work habits were poor. If his work habits were poor and he's at the very lest arguabley your best QB. You'd think you'd want to fix his work habits not go nuclear back the bus over him twice and then question why a 23rd year old had an immature reaction to that. All in all probably making the relationship so toxic you can't go back to him unless both Allen and Smith end up on IR.

Interesting McLaurin is back today and the QBs look competent. No doubt in my mind Haskins is still the man if Terry didnt miss time.

I don't think so. Riverboat Ron brought Kyle Allen with him to DC after he started several games for Carolina last season.

He's not invested in Haskins and doesn't appear to have any faith in him.

slight semantics but it was his OC Norv turners kid who really likes Allen.....

also lets also not act like they were playing anything other than a bottom feeder defense (sorry Jake I know they are your team but they are fucking horrific)
