DE Jaylahn (JT) Tuimoloau (Owner, Giant Erector Set, All B1G)

Mucho current "insider info" that is conflicting here (does that surprise anyone?). Bill Greene has it OSU leads with USC stlii in it. USC insider Martinez has it USC and UW in a battle with no mention of OSU. And guru Huffman has it OSU and UW top two. Can't make this stuff up...or can you? My admittedly uneducated guess is none of these guys have actually talked to the sphinxlike Tuimoloau lately because self-promotion is very low on his list of priorities...which makes him my favorite '21 recruit. Keep 'em guessing, J.T.
You hit the nail on the head. J.T. keeps a very low profile by all accounts. He is reportedly very close with USC commit Julien Simon however. That being said, nobody expects this race to conclude anytime soon but tOSU has been at the forefront for some time now.

3 more to Ohio State including Farrell and the Washington publisher.

Quick Hits
  • Ohio State seems to be picking up momentum with one of the nation’s top prospects in 2021. Early Tuesday morning, defensive lineman J.T. Tuimoloau received a pair of Crystal Ball predictions in favor of the Buckeyes, one of which coming from 247Sports director of recruiting Steve Wiltfong and the other from the west coast-savvy Brandon Huffman. In addition, the Washington native also picked up three FutureCasts to OSU on Rivals.
Tuimoloau is the No. 1 overall player in 247Sports’ own rankings for the 2021 class. The 6-foot-4.5, 277 pound defensive end currently has five total CBs — all of which are for Ohio State.

Bold move by the Huskies as he’s now been offered in Basketball by UW as well.

Not sure I understand that move. Is this just a verbal agreement that the two coaches will let him play both? It shouldn't matter to the kid what sport the schollie is in (although if I understand the order of precedence correctly it would count against football in any case).

My understanding is the scholarship will count against both Football & Basketball in the case they were to play both sports. Could be wrong though.
