DE Jaylahn (JT) Tuimoloau (Owner, Giant Erector Set, All B1G)

This recruitment is certainly unique in that OSU is getting all these crystal balls but I've yet to see a quote from the kid anywhere. Surely if someone had "inside info" there would've been some kind of acknowledgment of interest. Even on his twitter page although he does like pro OSU posts he offers no comments. I guess we'll just have to trust the gurus on this one! But man could him, Sawyer, and Hall wreck some OLs.

Five-star DT receives another OSU Crystal Ball
There is still a ton of time left before the 2021 cycle wraps up. Regardless, Ryan Day and his staff have managed to pick up a whopping 14 commitments thus far — good enough for the best class in the nation with nearly a full 50-point lead over Clemson’s No. 2 class. With the influx of talent in the last few days, Buckeye Nation may start to get antsy if they go a few hours without a commitment, but fear not! More is on the way.

On Tuesday afternoon, 247Sports Ohio State insider Bill Kurelic submitted a Crystal Ball prediction for five-star defensive tackle J.T. Tuimoloau to join the Buckeyes. The D-lineman is the No. 5 overall recruit in the nation, and the No. 1 player out of the state of Washington. He attends Eastside Catholic, the same high school as 2019 WR commit Gee Scott Jr. Ryan Day would be hoping to solidify his new West Coast pipeline in a big way with a commitment from the nation’s No. 1 DT.

Kurelic is not the first to predict Tuimoloau making the move to Columbus. Ohio recruiting analyst Bill Greene also submitted a CB in favor of Ohio State back in February. The only other CB in for Tuimoloau is for the in-state Washington Huskies, however it was submitted back in April of 2019.

The Sammamish native would be the third defensive line prospect to join this illustrious 2021 class, slotting in alongside the nation’s No. 2 recruit in DE Jack Sawyer and the No. 4 player in Ohio in DT Mike Hall. We will have to wait and see if/when Tuimoloau makes his decision official.
