Tony Grimes (CB North Carolina, transfer to Texas A&M)

The silver lining is, we don't play UNC in the next 15 years and play Clemson six times (2 on neutral sites).
If the IPTAY crew wants to start to regress, now would be an excellent time to do so.
Clemson has had a free ride in the ACC for several years. UNC under Brown with some talent could present a challenge to Dabo that might match us up with Grimes sooner than one might think.

Yeah I'd fight real hard to get my clock started right before college football is shut down, too.
High school is probably going to be shut down as well. He is a five star. Will get better training, better education, and was never likely to be a redshirt senior anyways.

If he ends up being a stud, he goes to the draft in 3 years and is younger for the 2nd and 3rd NFL contract.

If he is a "bust" he gets 5 years of college education for free and is younger with a degree.

So he graduated from HS already??

Now, according to Grimes’ father, his son will reclassify from the Class of 2021 to the Class of 2020. Provided he passes one more high school class — specifically, a government class — Grimes will enroll in classes at UNC in early August.

The dad, Deon Glover, said the uncertainty over a high school in the state of Virginia was the trigger for the decision.

“Our backs are against the wall,” Glover explained to 247Sports.com. “He doesn’t want to wait around and blow a whole season waiting around to see what’s going to happen with high school sports. He’s going to go ahead and move forward.”

Just sayin': Probably a "business decision" too. His NFL eligibility of "3 years removed from high school" starts a year earlier.
