BSB (Rivals) entire staff was out of town at some national rivals conference...

I still think he'll be a buckeye... but it seemed pretty fishy that rivals managed to break the news about henton despite having no one but an average photographer on site... especially considering BN had no similar reports and SGN was debunking the verbal.

Does BSB sometimes throw out headlines of verbal commitments based on what probably will happen in hopes that it will come true?

You mean like anticipatory teasers meant to mislead folks into giving up their hard earned money for something as abstract as information when that implied info may not even come true or even be spun to fit the headline?

Yes, I hate when sites do that.

Actually, between BN and BSB, I think BN would be the most likely one to run with something like that. (see: Kenyon Buford)

Despite the non-commitment news, I still feel very good about this. Dare I say that we can paint the endzones?

The best is when it's not even something that will happen within the next few days... I think I saw a headline reading:

Conner Smith: I choose...

and there was no article and no indication he'd be choosing soon.

Gosh I hate that kind of crap.


And yes, I think the paint should definitely be bought to start painting the end zones... he just hasn't come out and say what many believe he wants to do.

the only person from Rivals was Susan B... and anyone who would rely on her breaking this story first needs to give me a call a bridge I am selling... she seemed like a nice person but the last person I'd expect to find out a tidbit of info like that.
