WR Caleb Burton (transfer to Auburn)

Oh, still gotta believe Sark is gonna keep hammering at Ewers and Burton, and might gain some traction by pointing out (ugh) the Bama game, and the very crowded rooms at QB and WR at tOSU. Good points all, so we'll see how well Day can get the Buckeyes to recover and back on the winning trail. Probably the D recruits are going to waver the most, looking at the ways the Bama O torched us. As someone a lot smarter than I said, "it's 'crooting'" and away we go. tOSU might wanna look at Coombs spend a tad more time on the DBs and/or find a better D Coordinator or two. Go Bucks!

I don't think losing the NC game is going to hurt recruiting. Making it to the game and to the playoff a 2nd straight year is a huge selling point.

OregonBuckeye, you're correct, of course. Not to undersell tOSU, they/we have a stacked QB and WR room, which makes for someone to step forward and be the 'next one up'......If one of the stud QBs bursts on the scene and plays like a seasoned veteran, then we'll be fine. Hopefully the recruits noticed that Hartline wasn't afraid to play the freshmen WRs in the Championship game. Can't see Hartline leaving in the foreseeable future, until he gets some co-OC experience, or (shudder), Day takes a job in another college town (which could happen, but give it a low probability). Day's gotta get Stud to either sign some more OL studs, or coach up the guys we have. I worry about Jones replacing Miller in the starting line-up, not sure why, but it happened. Maybe still weak from Covid? Or? tOSU probably losing three of the OL starters to graduation or the draft, although it seems like there are some extremely viable replacements in the cupboard. Also, remember the coin toss, with the Bama OC (?) and Tuf standing across from each other for the flip, and thinking, this guy will flatten Tuf if he gets to the second level. Go Bucks

Agreed. I'd much rather go after a recruit after losing the NC, but being undefeated and winning the B1G and Sugar Bowl then losing the Poinsettia or Beef O Bradys Bowl and not even. Winning the B1G east
