Tunmise Adeleye (DE Texas A+M transfer to Texas State)

LOL

Now do other schools... i’d be the ratio is prolly the same.

and I think most folks were surprised when he committed and most of the recruiting folks here didn’t expect it to stick... lets stop blaming recent events for something that was likely brewing for a while.

I thought I was quite clear this was NOT a deciding factor in any decision, but if it didn't give him pause I don't think he would've retweeted it.

  • Yesterday, former 2021 Ohio State verbal commit Tunmise Adeleye announced via Twitter that he has narrowed his list down to a final three schools. Making the cut included Texas A&M, Florida, and Alabama. While Ohio State has seemingly moved on from Adeleye, the announcement shows you that barring something drastic, the four-star prospect will certainly not be coming back to Columbus in 2021.

Which defensive end just signed an NFL record contact and who was his coach?

But yeah lol..

All serious though I liked his confidence but he talked an awful lot of smack which isn't typical if I'm being honest of an OSU player.
OSU players talk as much as smack as any other player on any other team. Tunmise likes the crootin’ game. Emjoy SEC

TBH, the older I get, the more I concentrate my focus on the kids that we land and want to be Buckeyes, not the ones we miss. It's tOSU. As long as the staff continues to bring in top 5 classes each year and the talent level doesn't drop off, I trust the coaches to out-coach the rest and put a competitve product on the field.

You're either in or out. Don't really care much about you if you're out. It has to be the right fit. And as a lot of people have mentioned already, the kid's that play the crootin' game like Tunmise does are the ones that the staff don't typically pursue long-term. Don't get me wrong, kid looks like a heck of a talent and I'm sure the staff would welcome him in this second, but we'll find someone else who wants to be a Buckeye who becomes the next star on this defense.

Ohio vs. the world.

Absolutely... for me this kid just seemed off. Too much talk about being the best in his class, dominating, talking back on twitter.

When he was with us it was cool to see the confidence but to me it always felt a little out of the norm.

As you say we will get ours so good luck to him!
