DE Omari Abor (transfer to SMU)

probably both. Alabama IS at the apex of college football, as recent records show. Whether it's the best VISIT remains to be seen. We know in a general way what tOSU shows their recruits - mainly the football, and the life after football, and that journey, but we don't know (or publicize) what Bama does. Mayhaps they just show them their tunnel to the NFL and what they'll do to get the recruit there, dunno. And that may be enough. After he gets home and evaluates what he's seen/heard, he very well could decide to go for the complete life package. All very confusing to an 18 year old kid. Hope Bukipower has it wrong, and his brain tells him tOSU.....go Bucks!

Maybe I'm naive, but I'd guess that Bama's visit would be similar to OSU's, except Saban can pull out more rings. OSU and Bama both can tout their number of players they develop into NFL players(starters and roster depth), both show what they can do after football, but Bama can also tout that their assistants have NFL experience and their geographical location can tend to favor them as most of the top prospects reside in the south. I think it comes down to a kid and his family's preference and comfort.

Some recruit made a tik tok of Saban showing him around, took him to a lake engulfed by mansions, hung out in Saban’s estate. Obviously plenty more goes into it, but I’m sure that can be quite persuasive

I've seen some vids that recruits have made, and their walking around Sabans house. And one of the team hanging out at Saban's house and going out on his boat. Recently a recruit rode shotgun with Saban while his parents and Saban's wife rode in the back seat. It can be persuasive, and that's his style. But I'm sure Day could take a recruit around to neighborhoods in Columbus with mansions, and show them that a majority of the retail stores in America come out of Cbus. I know you're not knocking OSU for Bama, and both make compelling arguments.

We just had fans complaining about coaches showing up to the airport for a recruit. How upset would they be if they heard Day was driving recruits around?

I guess it’s okay if Saban does it too.

I’ll preface this by saying I might be totally reading this one wrong, but the more time that goes by the more I wonder how well these two sides fit together personality wise.

I’m in no way putting him in the same category as an Adeleye or Wilcoxson, but at the same time he’s not an Antwi, Brooks, Burton, Grayes etc. either.
