2025 TX DB Devin Sanchez is a Buckeye!!!

Matt Parker on CB Devin Sanchez.

Sanchez has an unofficial top three right now of Ohio State, Alabama, and Texas A&M. And I can say pretty confidently that Ohio State is not sitting at #2 or #3 for Devin Sanchez.
They have really put in the work for Devin Sanchez. They hosted him twice over the summer, starting with a recruiting camp in June where he turned in a head turning workout. I mean goodness gracious, that guy could be in the 2024 cycle if he wanted to be.
This is a guy that Tim Walton has made THE clear cut priority for the 2025 cycle. He's a long corner, which is exactly what Ohio State is looking for with their new 4-2-5 scheme they're running.
Parker also says he expects new CB commit Blake Woodby to be peer recruiting the hell out of Sanchez this weekend.

Devin Sanchez’ dad:
We had a great time,” Sanchez’s father Daniel said. Alabama LSU and Texas A&M are a few other contenders. “The atmosphere was great! We are very impressed with the staff and how they conduct themselves as well as the relationship they have built with our family. They have an outstanding culture and the winning tradition that we are looking to be part of. They have earned our trust as a family

Ohio State is starting to run away with it and they’re becoming a heavy front-runner,” he said after a third trip to Columbus in the last five months. “My recruitment is still open, but if Ohio State keeps this up for a little longer, then my recruitment won’t be so open.”

“My parents love it and think I’ll fit in perfectly,” Sanchez added.

Ohio State’s defense shut down Penn State’s offense on Saturday and the 2025 five-star cornerback from Houston (Texas) North Shore was highly impressed by what he saw as the Buckeyes.
Alabama, Ohio State and Texas A&M are the three programs that have been in most focus by Sanchez and the word is that the Buckeyes are recruiting him the hardest.
