Every time I go down there they make it feel like home," he said. "Just building that relationship with them and them showing me what they do on the field and in the weight room, it's fun. Coach Walton showing me what he does on the field in the film room is big, too."
Throw in Zackery, Delane or Galloway for depth at CB. Those are some amazing options at CBGotta go get this kid and team him up with Brew, would be an absolute lockdown duo to pair up with two absurd CB classes in a row. Impossible not to get Okudah vibes with his length, fluid hips, athleticism and the Texas aspect. But I'm tempering enthusiasm for now, long way to go and lots of competition.
Second on my wish list only to any elite OT due to need. We have accumulated a crazy amount of consecutive CB talent in CSH, Mathews, Scott, West, Lockhart and now Woodby that pretty much should make us set for years to come. However, Sanchez is truly elite (probably the best CB in '25) and would be an impact guy that would most definitely see the field and make our CB unit scary good. So obviously we want him in this class in a bad way.Still want...
Parker also says he expects new CB commit Blake Woodby to be peer recruiting the hell out of Sanchez this weekend.Sanchez has an unofficial top three right now of Ohio State, Alabama, and Texas A&M. And I can say pretty confidently that Ohio State is not sitting at #2 or #3 for Devin Sanchez.
They have really put in the work for Devin Sanchez. They hosted him twice over the summer, starting with a recruiting camp in June where he turned in a head turning workout. I mean goodness gracious, that guy could be in the 2024 cycle if he wanted to be.
This is a guy that Tim Walton has made THE clear cut priority for the 2025 cycle. He's a long corner, which is exactly what Ohio State is looking for with their new 4-2-5 scheme they're running.
I agree, that OSU needs an elite OT the most in this class. So IMO, Carter Lowe is the highest of priorities. But a long CB with speed is needed in the current football climateSecond on my wish list only to any elite OT due to need.
