I know it's Woody's comment, but I want to see a "because I couldn't go for 3" moment. We're up 92-0 on the 30 with 6 seconds to go. Put the first team offense back in there (the last 40 points were put up by the marching band), and throw into the endzone. M*ch*gan knows what's coming, and they have 7 db's in the endzone to stop the score. We still complete the pass (same corner as Will Allen's interception in 2002) for a touchdown. Bring out the field goal team for 1. M*ch*gan isn't fooled - they put in their base goal line defense. Sure enough, Ohio State shifts out of the field goal formation into an offensive play. Some kind of awesome razzle-dazzle play where they do like a triple-reverse passback to a lineman who throws to a wide-open kicker for the 2 points, and Ohio State wins 100-0.
I would die feeling as if all my life's hopes and dreams had been fulfilled.

Yeah that's the point.
I agree. Let the players do what they've always done. Let their play on the field do their talking for them. We can talk all the shit we want as fans, but if the players start doing it, the only thought that comes to mind is "Revenge Tour" and we all know how that worked out for scUM. I definitely believe the Buckeyes are better than that.

Taking a jaunt through the Rocco Spindler commitment thread on mgoblog:

Rocco committed silently to Notre Dame over a month to two months ago. A coach here on the site even said as much. I’m not sure why anyone got their hopes up. He’s been going to Notre Dame for a long time. Michigan will still have a better offensive line than Notre Dame all 4/5 years of Roccos career. You can write that down somewhere.

Exactly. Same with the “can’t win a big game” crap. It’s conveniently only a big game when we lose apparently. People choose to focus on the negative and magnify it’s importance

This sucks, but if we get Drew Kendall, we’ll be fine

Kendall, from a Massachusetts prep school with offers from Michigan, Penn State, Boston College, Duke, Dartmouth, Maryland, Massachusetts, NC State, Stanford, Syracuse, Virginia, West Virginia

Spindler, top 50 national player from instate with offers from Ohio State, Alabama, LSU, Notre Dame, Florida, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and others.

Yeah, that seems like an even trade off to me.

The overall confidence around their OLine is funny; they just managed highly mediocre results last season and lose 4/5 starters, three of which were top 100 recruits. They replace these starters with a bunch of 100-500 type players and the recruiting isn’t getting any better.

So they can’t do anything beyond mediocrity with top rated recruits, but these guys who weren’t rated as highly are really gonna take it to the next level for them.

I guess compared to their DT recruiting at least they can say they have warm bodies in the room?

The whole thing is just the quintessential example of

I’m sure Rutgers is in for a devastating ground attack against these road graders. Don’t let the entire world tell you different, it’s a big game because they can win.

I took a cruise through that thread and noted that I somehow missed their echo chamber turning the strength of the OL into an unquestionable fact.

They are consistent, I'll give them that.
