Tommy Maddox is garbage!

It's funny that Maddox was pissed when the Steelers used their first round pick last season on a QB rather than a position player that "could help the team". They must have know that Maddox was done already.

Somone on one of the postgame shows (CBS, Fox, or ESPN) this weekend said that Maddox should be suspended for "conduct detrimental to the team" just for taking a snap. :lol:

So many people thought Roethlisberger was just a product of the system. Any QB could do what he did with the supporting cast? Wrong, Tommy Maddox has proven that. Even so they are still way better than the Clowns. :lol:

That's as good as last year when one of them said there was a robbery in Cleveland as the Browns were stealing their checks since they sucked so bad on the field.

This is really a combination of things.

First of all, Maddox was replacing Kordell Stewart, which would make anyone look like a great QB.

After a few ok seasons, the Steelers drafted Ben, which pissed Tommy off.

Since then, it appears that he has done exactly zero preparation. He looks to be out of shape, he has no foot speed, his arm seems to have lost whatever life it once had and most importantly, he looks like he's never even attended a practice or opened a playbook.

He looks absolutely horrible.

At least when Charlie Batch played, he looked like he knew what he was supposed to be doing.

Since I graduated from Miami, Ben is naturally one of my favorite NFL players, but the unintentional comedy that comes from watching Tommy Maddox play makes me hope he doesn't return too quickly. When they started their last drive to try to win it before OT on Sunday I called for an interception... The look on his face was priceless after that ridiculous play off of Ward's foot. There is no player in the NFL that can hurt a team more than Tommy Maddox. Period. If I was gambling man I would be praying for the Steelers to make the playoffs, and somehow be forced to start him. Wow.

BREAKING NEWS

PITTSBURGH, PA -- Local police reported
that some individual attempted to egg" Steeler's Coach Bill Cowher's
house last night.

An empty egg carton was recovered at the scene.
Two eggs hit Mr. Cowher's house,
3 eggs went over his house and hit his neighbor's back door,
2 eggs hit the houses of each of his next
door neighbors,
and the remaining 3 eggs were found broken on the ground near the carton
from where the individual threw them.

Detective Charles Aikins stated
"Looking at what was hit, we are
considering Tommy Maddox as the
primary suspect."
