Shouldn't the winner of the conference be the winner of the conference tournament, not of the regular season? The former is the one who gets the automatic bid.

No, they aren't comparable. Winning 3-4 daily games doesn't outweigh 15+ games against the conference. Drew Neitzel could get hot and carry MSU thru a tourney, but needs a better team to be the best over a season.

Women's basketball is no more important than those. Gee, tell me how many sports I have to attend before I'm considered a true OSU fan. Since attending the school and actually graduating isn't enough. :roll1:
