The Sporting News B10 Preview...

terrorizor

Newbie
Picked up The Sporting News Big 10 preview magazine today. For each team they have a section where different Big 10 coaches anonymously comment on different teams. The comments on Michigan basically said that Michigan cheats and is soft.

Specifically, the coach said Michigan DBs Markus Curry and Marlin Jackson grabbed and held so much that they were issued a warning after the Illinois game but that didn't stop them. He also said that Michigan is clearly more talented than OSU across the board, but that OSU plays "harder."

This coach who went on the record annonymously said some nice things about OSU. Didn't have much nice things to say about Michigan though. LOL. I think it was probably Paterno or Tiller -I think they hate Michigan the most out of all the coaches in the Big Ten.

I think it had to be ol' senial Papterno. Clearly more talented across the board???
OSU has better linebackers, secondary, receivers, hell you could even make a case for QB (although I think Henne has a slight edge over Smith and Zwick for now, but who knows without Edwards there).

This is my view, as a non-fan of either team. So please go easy on me.

OSU clearly has better linebackers and secondary.

WRs is very close. That is like splitting hairs and either team can make a case. As for the QB thing, Michigan clearly has better QBs. Chad Henne is a great young talent and Matt Gutierez is also talented. Gutierez would be starting at Michigan if he never got injured. According to the news reports I've read, Gutierez is near 100% and will be ready for next season. I think that just makes Michigan's advantage at the QB spot alot more firm if he is in the fold.

I can tell that you are a Michigan fan because you have the same IP address as "MFanInBuckLand", a notorious Michigan "fan" (or flamer) who is just coming off of a 2-week vacation from this site.

So, who's the ass now?
