Texas Tech Red Raiders (sponsored by BET365)

I know a bar in Chicago where that can very easily be arranged.

Is it shitty?
Yes

Can I blame Tech for doing it?
No

They know they can get away with it so why not try to win at all costs?
It sounds like there might be an actual revolt going on. Maybe the conference comish's can calm everyone back down but sounds like a lot of coaches and AD's want to freeze tech out by refusing to schedule them even at least some in their own conference.

What’s the clinical name for people who do shitty things because they know they can get away with it? Sociopaths? They know it’s wrong. They do it anyway. We really need to bring back consequences.

That may be the smartest thing I'll read all month. But don't get a big head - I don't read much.
But your words have a lot of wisdom. The NCAA actually tried to do the right thing, and found out that they aren't allowed to. Like someone else said:
The big boys starting to self-police begins…
If there is any truth to this self-policing, that's great. Black-ball them in any way you can. I was saying that about CMU's involvement with Connor Stalions. But, even if the words are true, they're just words. I think if it make a team a couple bucks to play Texas Tech, then they'll play Texas Tech.

A lot of hyperbole as people line up to show who can be more outraged and clutch their pearls over the "integrity" of CFB is all I see.

The guy made micro bets at IU when he was buried in the depth chart and had no influence on games, never bet on his team at UC or TT. That fact pattern does not equal 1919 Black Sox or Pete Rose.

Reality is more that the sport of CFB has always lacked "integrity" depending on how you define that or how far you want to play that charade. What people are actually upset about is the TT oil booster just blatantly buying the program into relevance whether that be buying players via NIL or local judges for a ruling. It feels like he's cheating but under the new rules, he isn't.

Floating the idea of refusing to play the TT women's soccer team over this is as absurd as the judges ruling.
