ok i was looking at this site

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/draft

and if you click on the video camera next to each players nam...you will get some highlights, but i have tried forever to get the highlights saved to my computer....i would usually click on properties and find the file name, and then download it, but you cant right click on them.

so i went to my temporary internet files and found the link...it was a 1KB asx file...well click on the link and now its playing in my windows media player, but when i click on properties it doesnt give me a wmv file.

so can anyone help me with this...i know we have some great computer people on these boards.

I had wondered the same thing... I know there are streaming video capture programs out there... not sure if there are any good ones for free. We'll see what the others have to say on this topic. Doom9.net is the best site for anything and everything related to video or dvd stuff.

I think in the end you might end up here.
The primary for pay solution they recommend ($50) is Replay Video Suite. Handles anything Windows you throw at it. (Rm, WM etc, NOT QT).

Freeware list begins with StreamVBox VCR
this best handles RM files.

WM media files may need something like the Streaming Download Project.

Hope that helps.
