If a mother could come in and tape practice for two weeks without JT's knowledge - I'm sure there would be some opposing coaches doing some creative reconnaissance.

Here's the telling parts of this garbage:

Gee, sounds like a real reputable source here. Or sounds like a kid who was smoking pot all day and had no ambition to get up off his ass. Great job finding this one, ESPN.

And here's the other gem:

"He compiled a 2.3 GPA and had never lost his eligibility. But his coursework included four credits for playing football, three for Tressel's Coaching Football class, 10 for remedial reading, 10 for remedial math and three for Issues Affecting Student Athletes."

Well, gee Sammy: if these classes were so damn easy and such a joke, then how come you could only muster a 2.3??? If all it takes is showing up to barely pass these "eligibility saving" classes, then how come you couldn't get at least a 3.0?

What a waste of time. ESPN has hit a new low. All these "bottom of the barrell" people: Clarett, Cooper, Maladanado, and Curtis Crosby are smearing the program, but how come I don't hear from the Molecular Genetics Majoring QB's point of view? There's no word from the hundreds of reputable kids that've passed through the Program, but the word of an Outcast, Drug Dealer, Pot Smoker, and Criminal are taken as law. I am pissed.

Interesting how the one person who apparently gave a damn about his education at OSU-McNutt-is off and running w/ his coaching career-and reports no funny business, while these other morons are whining about the opportunities they blew and humping furniture....................

There are hundreds that weren't outstanding students, but were able to finish playing, and still lead more or less successful lives. Many players would lose their eligibility, and drop out of site. Ten years later, you find out they have a happy marriage, decent careers, in other words, a life. Even Katzenmoyer is back in school (or he was last year, haven't heard lately) after being harassed for taking advanced basket weaving or whatever.

The point is that you don't have to be part of our great graduation rate to be a worthwhile member of society. Just being a guy drying to get by works for me. Most of us don't get by by being criminals.

Yeah I agree with all of you..... If the classes are so easy? why does Maurice/Sammy need tutors and why do they need extra benefit? This just doesn't make sense? Also If Sammy's mom did tape the practices LETS SEE THEM! Until the media/public does its just another case of momma stick'n up for her boy.

I don't know whats go'n on with this lately but what these boys don't know is that they will never kill this university and will never kill the fan base. Even if god forbids 3-5 years of probation would have to occure if Tressel did indeed do this the program will still sell out every game, and we'd still compete, oh yeah and after those 3-5 years is up we'd still get to bowl games and still get the big time recruits..... So blow it out your ass MoC./Sammy/Whoever else the fuck there is.

JT should have just told them their fatass bitch of a son was more interested in smoking blunts and skipping his remedial classes than football. He did not deserve reps and his mistakes could have come in film sessions while his stoned ass was munching on reese cups and hawaiian punch. I'm sure JT was helping his ass out the door when mommy came to practice...however, JT never tells the negative details about players, not even The Antichrist Clarett. That is called class...some of these so called witnesses need a big dose of that.

Who in the hell sees 20 hrs of remedial courses on their schedule and goes with the flow if they are serious about academics? What Mom and Dad didn't see the report cards? It is sickening how people always look for others to blame for their screwups.

Also to have a grade pt avg. off 2.3 means he got an average of about 73. That is a low C average in Those classes give me a break. A 5th grader could probably do better. Also you have to take a placement test for math and english in college. I took both of them as I am sure most other people have too. So that must of been what he was placed into. That is not the university's fault it is his dumb ass who doesn't know how to count the number of national titles that tOSU has won so go on with your life you no good fat ass bull. I wonder if he has stepped up to 3+3 yet, or maybe he can learn that while he is suspended for the rest of year.

I am soo pissed about all this shit.

And last off screw espn.

Hell yeah buckfan40.....All these guys are disgruntled because they haven't/didn't make it big time. What all these reports have yet to point out is that all of these people being interviewed have major personality/off field problems. That'd be like trusting a damn serial killer over a priest? who the hell are you go'n to believe? Seriously thought I think it was a dumb move by clarett not only did he make it look bad on himself again he also pissed off alot of buckeye fans and everyone knows we have one of the biggest if not the biggest fan base out there...... His life will be hell???? why would anyone want that?
