So, Madden is Coming out Tuesday

Sportsbuck28

Here comes the BOOM
Is anybody else planning on getting it? I've got it reserved for the 360, and I can't wait to play it.

I'll be rolling with the Panthers this year. I had it down to the Bengals (Duh, lived in Ohio), and the Panthers (Now my hometown team) and the Panthers were more intriguing because of our anemic offense. All I know is that Steve Smith will be a HOFer by the time I'm done with him..

I'll get Madden... I personally think it's a better game than NCAA. I've always enjoyed creating a fantasy team, including mostly Buckeyes.
Madden has always crushed NCAA imo... far better football AI and gameplay. The off-field stuff - recruiting, bowls & tradition - help NCAA catch up imo.

For 360 and PS3, where the depth chart automatically orders to the worst player once you make a substitution. And it is filled with open slots if you attempt a lot of them. It's just a buggy mess.

Also happens if you edit any player (even if you just go to the edit screen). It will reset all of your depth chart changes.

Does anyone know what the game play is like for Madden on the Wii? I would have to think they could do some pretty cool stuff with the Wii controls. Is Madden worth getting, or should I save my Best Buy gift card for Tiger 08?

Personally, I"m more of an NCAA guy. You can't beat the sweet recruiting, the bowls, tradition, bands, and mascots. I love how EA has added other site around campus lately, like seeing the Notre Dame library (aka Touchdown Jesus) outside the stadium as you play.
There are some years people conceed the gameplay from NCAA is better than Madden, or at least the overall performance. I usually get Madden every 3rd year, but I gotta get NCAA every year. I'll probably get Madden next year, that way they can work out any bugs and add a couple new features.
