I'm usually the first to deride such on-line polls as meaningless.

While this one will probably hold little importance in the minds of people who decide which teams to invite to their Bowls, it IS one small thing we can do to remind them of how large and passionate the Buckeye Planet is.

This is the first time ever that I'm one of the voices recommending a BP takeover of an on-line poll. let's do this.

Hell of a question. With losses to USC and MSU, they should be fighting for their BCS lives. We lost to two teams that are going to the BCS. They lost to one team that is a lock for the BCS and one that isn't bowl eligible. Both at home.

Everyone who saw our game with Texas knows we should have won that game. We simply played like crap against Penn State and the Nits earned that win.

We should be a lock, now that Miami lost yesterday and we should jump to no worse than 7th in the BCS rankings with CCG's in the Big XII and SEC to go.

I agree, but in a college football season that is really lacking much controversy, the OSU vs. Oregon issue will become the great debate in the media for the next two weeks. My point is, why does ND get a free pass on this issue of taking a 2-loss team over a 1-loss team? Our resume is certainly more impressive than theirs.
